MENTORING AND GUIDANCE
Southcrest is committed to create a safe, caring and positive school environment where all students can learn and develop into mature and cheerful individuals.
Hence all the activities, academic or otherwise, have a formative character where virtue formation is stressed.
Aside from the character development program given in class and the guidance and counseling program available for those in need, the school also provides a personalized mentoring program for each individual student to help each child integrate all the learning experiences, habits and knowledge she has acquired in school. The mentor, usually one of the teachers in school, acts as a significant adult or friend to help the child positively process her experiences, learnings and reactions.
