PAREF Southcrest School is an exclusive all-girls school forming part of the Parents for Education Foundation (PAREF) whose aim is to provide a balanced education by combining high academic standards with a special emphasis on the integration of academic and personal development of students. It regards itself on being secular in its orientation but Christian in its identity.

The mission of the PAREF School is to form persons committed to the truth, who possesses virtues that enable them to contribute to the betterment of society. The education in the school takes place in all areas ( classrooms, libraries, sports, facilities, cafeteria, and the general campus). It also takes place in all situations ( in classes, mentoring sessions, and sports activities). Everything is formative and everyone forms everyone else in school. The Christian identity is especially observed in interpersonal dealings characterized by charity, justice, and respect for freedom.

The inspiration behind the establishment of PAREF schools is the life and teachings of St. Josemaria Escriva, founder of Opus Dei, who saw in ordinary work, done with love and spirit of service, an excellent means to be close to God and lead others close to Him.
